Discounted Student Advantage Access Through NAGPS
As a part of the initiative to increase membership benefits, NAGPS will now provide Student Advantage cards to all individual members and discounts on the purchase of Student Advantage cards to students of organizational members.
Student Advantage, the nation's leading student discount program, provides students with exclusive discounts both online and in-store with Amtrak, Greyhound, T-Mobile, BarnesandNoble.com, Foot Locker and thousands of other participating locations. Get discounts of up to 40% on travel, laptops, books, clothing and more when you enroll in Student Advantage. Some examples of actual discounts include:
- Foot Locker: 10% OFF Purchase of $50 or More
- Greyhound: 20% OFF Standard Fares: Walk-Up and Online
- Lenovo: Save 35%
- Amtrak: Save 15% on Rail Fares
Student Advantage is the nation’s largest discount card designed for students – and now your NAGPS membership can provide you free or significantly discounted access to this card! The National Association of Graduate-Professional Students has partnered with Student Advantage to offer discounted access to Student Advantage for NAGPS members! There are two ways to save:
- Individual Members will receive a complementary one-year Student Advantage card with their paid membership (a $22.50 value included for free with your paid $50 NAGPS Individual membership). - Students represented by NAGPS Organizational Members (GSAs, GSO, GPSOs, etc.) can purchase a one-year Student Advantage card for only $18 - 20% OFF the retail price of $22.50! Following your individual membership registration or purchase of your Student Advantage card, you will receive an e-mail containing your membership credentials that can be used immediately to save! A printed card will be mailed to you within 7-10 business days.
