Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week
Dates: April 4-8, 2011
In cooperation with sister organizations in Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom, NAGPS organizes a graduate and professional student appreciation week in the United States. NAGPS assists member organizations in working with their state legislature to officially declare graduate and professional student week for their state. Student Tax & Other Local Issues
NAGPS works with members at a local level to help on unique issues facing graduate and professional students. Recently in 2009, NAGPS help Pittsburg-area members successfully oppose the implementation of a student tax.
State Level Advocacy
NAGPS provides resources and encourages members to develop state-wide coalitions to address local educational issues and concerns.
