NAGPS Staff Hiring Policy

Adopted: 12/8/97

 

  1. A minimum of 2 individuals will be interviewed for any open position.
  2. The hiring committee shall be proposed by the Executive Coordinator and approved by the Board. It shall consist of at least three Board members who must be present for the interview, though more may participate in person and/or via teleconference (pending budgetary concerns).
  3. The hiring committee's decisions must be reported to the Board for ratification.
  4. Exceptions may be made to this policy, under extenuating circumstances, by a 2/3 vote of the Board.
