Budget Policy
- Proposed budgets for the next fiscal year (FY) are due from all officers to theTreasurer at the January or February Board Meeting.
- The Treasurer will devise a NAGPS Budget Orientation packet, containing brief explanations of the NAGPS budget process, sources of revenue and expenditures, to be used as an orientation tool for new officers, and suitable for review by members who have questions about these areas. This packet will be revised annually.
- Regional Coordinators, using the orientation packet provided by the Treasurer, are responsible for orienting their successors to the NAGPS budget process and for giving their successors copies of their budget request for the upcoming FY. In the event that an RC leaves office before the Regional Conference, or that (s)he fails to orient his/her successor, this orientation will be the responsibility of the Treasurer.
