2012 Appreciation Week Dates Set: April 2-6
In 1993, NAGPS established Graduate-Professional Student Appreciation Week (GPSAW) as a mechanism to support and appreciate graduate and professional students. Specifically, Graduate-Professional Student Appreciation Week seeks to emphasize the contributions, impact and value of graduate and professional students on campuses throughout the United States.
Recently the NAGPS Board set the date for the 2012 Graduate-Professional Student Appreciation Week. It will be held April 2-6, 2012. In 2011, More than 40 institutions nationwide recognized the contributions of their graduate and professional students through this event. Additionally, state and local governments recognized graduate and professional students through proclomations and resolutions during this week - from Arizona, to Texas, to Pennsylvania!
