America COMPETES Reauthorization Act of 2010
NAGPS wants to inform you about the status of the America COMPETES Reauthorization Act of 2010 (H.R. 5325). The COMPETES Act authorizes funding increases during the 2011-2013 fiscal years for the National Science Foundation, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the Office of Science and ARPA-E at the Department of Energy. It also creates and expands programs to improve education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) from K-12 through post-doctoral levels. We would like our member universities to show their support by sending in letters to their representatives about the America COMPETES bill.
