Kevin McComber received his Ph.D. in materials science and engineering at MIT, where he also did his undergraduate studies; his research concerned germanium crystal growth for applications in photonics. At MIT, Kevin was the Graduate Student Council (GSC) vice president, as well as an Activities Committee chair. He was also the chair of the Boston Graduate Leadership Organization (BGLO), a consortium of graduate student leaders from Boston-area schools.
Kevin now works as an engineer at Intel Corporation near Phoenix, Arizona.
