The Association is currently accepting applications for positions for the Board of Directors, Standing and Ad Hoc Committees, and Regions. A list of the available positions is provided below. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.

Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the governing body of the Association. It meets at least quarterly and acts on behalf of the membership throughout the year. The Board of Directors is comprised of the 7 Officers, 4 Committee Chairs of the Advocacy Board, and 5 Regional Chairs. Consult position descriptions for specific duties of Board of Directors.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is comprised of the 7 Officers of the Association: President, Vice President, Director of Administration, Director of Communications, Director of Finance, Director of Outreach, and Director of Relations. The Executive Committee meets at least monthly and handles the day-to-day business of the Association. Consult position descriptions for specific duties of Executive Committee.
Standing Committees
The four Standing Committees of the Association: Employment Concerns, International Student Concerns, Legislative Concerns, and Social Justice. Consult position descriptions for specific duties of Standing Committees.
Benefits Committee (ad hoc)
The Benefits Committee reports to the President. The Benefits Committee is charged to assess the current coverage needs of the graduate student population in order to determine the best-suited coverage plans (healthcare, dental, vision, car insurance) and discount programs. The work of this committee will lead to the establishment of national coverage plans. The dental coverage plan will be the priority.
Regions
The U.S. is divided into five regions: Midwest, Northeast, Southcentral, Southeast, and Western. Each region has a structure and positions designed to meet the specific needs and interests of the regional membership. More information on each region can be found on the regional webpages.
